Just completed 24 credit hours of Computer Science at Milligan College. I decided to make this switch after realizing I have a real passion for programming. I did two years of study on my own before coming back to Milligan. Currently my main interests are data structures and application development.Programming languages: Python (my first), Java, SwiftTools: Visual Studio Code, Wing IDE, Xcode, Eclipse, ARM simulator, Oracle VM VirtualBoxOperating systems: Windows, MAC OS, UbuntuSkills: Hardware and software troubleshooting, logical problem solving, discrete mathematicsProjects I've done: Art Database - This is a desktop application version of Doodles but written in Python Tkinter. I am nearly finished!You can view and download the app on my Github. It creates a .db file with the data you enter into the GUI's fields.Doodles - The budding artist's favorite inventory management IOS app! I created this inventory app in Swift and Xcode for a local artist. It could easily be used by anyone that has a product to sell. It takes the seller's product information (materials used, labor hours, expected profit) and calculates a good starting price then allows the seller to mark a product as sold or currently selling.Milligan College Athletics Schedule Database - I and two others designed a database model for the athletics department. This was intended to allow professors and coaches to track expected student absences due to upcoming games.Process Scheduler - This Java program simulates an OS' process scheduling algorithm. Input each task's time to complete and scheduling preference (first come first serve, round robin, etc.) The time to complete will then be displayed allowing you to pick the most efficient scheduling strategy.What I'm looking for: Entry level programming work, design or debugging.
