CurrentDesign mechanical, hydraulic and automated systems, supply high-quality CAD models and precise fabrication drawings, ensure functional safety compliance, and drive collaboration to deliver innovative and high-performance engineering solutions.• Started in Mechanical Draftsman role, promoted to Associate Mechanical Engineer in February 2023. -- Key responsibilities --• Lead the design, development, and optimisation of mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.• Develop and implement functional safety requirements in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 61508) to ensure safe operation of machinery and systems.• Administer and implement Windchill PLM solutions, including configuration, user support, and process optimisation to enhance collaboration and data management.• Oversee the implementation and setup of Windchill PLM, including process customisation, change management (as Change Administrator), and integration with CAD and document workflows.• Manage Windchill server administration, providing troubleshooting, system updates, and implementing process changes to improve efficiency and system performance.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions and support project delivery within time and budget constraints.• Conduct detailed analysis, including FEA and tolerance assessments, to validate design integrity and performance.• Produce high-precision technical drawings and 3D CAD models for efficient manufacturing processes.• Liaise with stakeholders to interpret design requirements and ensure accurate documentation.• Revise and maintain detailed technical documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.-- Achievements --• CGL Values Champion - Teamwork Sept 2024
