Leading and managing Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Assets within the Experimental Demoworks Strike Line and subsequently seconded to the A&T NEST Engine Build facility. The scope for these facilities was to strip and rebuild complex production engines as required for a successful pass off test.

Aligned to Civil Technology Programs and UltraFan Engine Development Programs. I was a technically responsible for Validation and Verification of hardware in the Fans and Core Compressors sections of the engines. This involved defining verification strategies in line with product and sub system requirements, defining test requirements and writing inputs to engine test schedules. This ensured that data delivered from the Tests was robust and could be used as evidence that requirements had been fulfilled.It was also part of my role to provide build line engineering support to operations including kitting, module build, engine build and test. The engine programs I worked on through this job were UltraFan, Advance 3, Short Inlet and the Advanced Low Pressure System (ALPS) projects. I am an experienced borescope inspector and was responsible for complex inspections across different engine sections as well as training of less experienced personnel.

Seconded during the Covid-19 pandemic to act as a focal/interface point between Operations and Development Engineering. Managed build line issue resolution, plan optimization and communication of technical deliverables for the Advance 3 Core Demonstrator engine across all engine sections with support of the wider Engineering team. Developed solutions to problems using technical knowledge and judgement and co-ordinated the strip and rebuild of the engine within Development and Experimental culminating in delivery of a strip hardware layout and successful module rebuild. Also managed the optimization of the plans to utilize a small and focused fitting team to achieve this in a timely manner.
