• Managed the implementation of a new automation system consisting of a robot and vacuum lifting system operated by a wall crane. • Identified and created the specifications needed for the design including building layout and available resources. • Researched and analyzed the various components and parts for the new system to ensure quality and compatibility between them. • Calculated the mathematics behind the forces needed for the vacuum system to lift the specified pieces as well as structural integrity of the crane installation. • Modified specifications set by the employer to work around problems that arose in order to save time and money. • Developed and presented multiple solutions of my ideas to employer, each with their own advantages and disadvantages as well as predicted price. • Authored a detailed report on the entire process to present to the employer for them to use as a foundation to finish the system after I left. • Documented a test log book, risk assessment and maintenance manual for future reference on how to ensure the safety of employees as well as the longevity of the system through proper care.
