-Developed custom software for controlling automated systems ranging from aerospace component and missile test rigs to nuclear reactor control systems-Collaborated with nuclear researchers to create algorithms, custom report generators, and user interfaces for the first transient reactor in the country

- Led and performed R&D to build sensor unit and PCB based on the lasers from an Xbox DVD player to save thousands of dollars on nuclear fuel property measurements using innovative fluorescent scanning methods-Oversaw and trained students on motor controls, laser controls, and making circuit boards
