I head up the Communications Team, leading media and digital engagement to help position Brook as the leading young people's sexual health and wellbeing charity. I'm responsible for devising and delivering Brook's campaigns including Sexual Health Week, as well as managing high profile corporate and brand partnerships.

I teach Documentary Film: Theory and Production to undergraduates. Using a mixture of lectures and practical workshops I provide students with an overview of the history and modes of documentary, as well as provide them with the skills to capture and craft compelling real life stories on film.

I headed up the Communications function, line managing a three person team overseeing PR, marketing, campaigns and digital engagement. Working closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team, I devised and delivered the communications strategy, overseeing a brand refresh and securing coverage on the BBC, The Guardian and Sky News.Key contributions included successfully lobbying the Welsh Assembly to improve accessible transport in the region and securing coverage on the BBC One documentary One Day That Changed My Life, leading to over £100,000 in new funding.I also led the communications strategy for the charity's Dream Fund project, helping secure the initial £1 million grant from People's Postcode Lottery and managing media and celebrity engagement over an 18 month period.

Working with the Head of Communications I developed and delivered the charity's digital engagement strategy, covering the website, social media and digital marketing. As well as boosting the charity's Instagram following by 300%, I lead the launch campaign for the charity's partnership with Uber, securing 3000 YouTube views in 24 hours. I also shot and edited a series of video case studies to support the charity's successful campaign lobbying the government and NHS to implement Personal Wheelchair Budgets.

Overseeing a team of five journalists, I produced and edited videos, podcasts and articles about major issues affecting young people. I held responsibility for the website, writing copy and uploading content, and in 2015 I project managed the complete redevelopment of the site.I devised modules for the charity's Learning Through Journalism programme, delivering media workshops for young people in schools and youth centres. I also led a 18 month video research project commissioned by the Department for Education, gathering responses to the Children and Families Act from young disabled people and their parents.

I successfully mentored a young person through the charity's peer training programme to an internship at The Guardian, and sold in articles written by young people to The Sun and The Mirror.

Led projects at an agency specialising in child and youth research. Responsible for 10 accounts over 11 months I analysed data, produced reports and presented findings to clients including BBC, Duracell and Pokemon.
