Headliners (UK)

Headliners is a Northeast based charity supporting young people to have a voice. Through our unique multi-media journalism programmes, young people are empowered to share their stories and the stories of others, they are given opportunities through informal education to give them knowledge and insight into the world around them and we advocate for their right to be heard as equals. Headliners uniquely applies the principals of youth work-based learning to journalism and media giving young people a platform to be heard. We offer open access youth journalism, targeted youth projects and bespoke youth programmes all with the aim of empowerment for young people from all different backgrounds. Young people are at the heart of everything Headliners does, they are core to the decision making across the organisation.
