My years as a journalism student has given me a variety of essential skills which allow me to work effectively in any area of the industry - whether it be broadcast, print or social media. As my aim is to become a film journalist, I have built a portfolio of film reviews, opinion columns as well as short video pieces and documentaries on both lighthearted and heavy news. Outside of university, I have gained valuable experience in customer service, ranging from bar work, front of house, and time as a receptionist. My customer service experience alongside my degree has prepared me for my future working in the journalism industry.
