As an advisor within the department, I played a pivotal role in addressing any wording-related matters, offering insights and recommendations to ensure clarity and precision. My commitment extended to guaranteeing the prompt and effective production of policies, presenting them seamlessly to insured parties or agents. Additionally, I was adept at swiftly resolving policy queries, contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction. Managing a diverse business portfolio, spanning from individual retail clients to third-level commercial airline operations, showcased my ability to handle a wide range of responsibilities within the aviation insurance landscape.

In my previous position, I held a multifaceted role where I independently managed the policy department, overseeing the production of various types of policies. These encompassed standard, combined, underwriter, and manuscript wordings, covering a diverse range of areas such as hull and liability, personal accident, products liability, excess liability, hull war, spares, deductible, loss of license, and death by natural causes. My responsibilities extended to assisting the technical department by meticulously checking and producing slips, endorsements, and pro formas, ensuring compliance with contract certainty for stage 2 signing. Additionally, I played a crucial role in supporting brokers, offering guidance on unfamiliar clauses or wordings, maintaining an updated record of current terms, and advising on new developments while ensuring awareness of any withdrawn or amended wordings or clauses within the department. Timely production and presentation of policies to bureau and non-bureau underwriters for signing, followed by efficient forwarding to insured parties or agents, were integral components of my role. I adeptly resolved policy queries from both the bureau and insurers, showcasing my commitment to seamless operations. Managing a diverse business portfolio, ranging from individual retail clients to third-level commercial airline operations, further highlighted my proficiency in handling various aircraft types and operation sizes, both fixed and rotor wing.

In my previous role, I held a pivotal position that encompassed a range of responsibilities crucial to the efficient functioning of Lloyd’s brokers. My duties involved meticulous Stage 1 processing, encompassing premium and technical checks, as well as data entry for insurance, reinsurance, and excess of loss. A significant component of my role was the Stage 2 Policy Production Service (PPS), where I contributed to the seamless production of policies. Ensuring the correct application of laws and regulations, as well as maintaining Lloyd’s underwriting standards, were paramount aspects of my responsibilities. Effective communication and collaboration were integral, requiring regular liaison with broker and underwriter contacts. To enhance my capabilities, I underwent extensive training, achieving a high standard to gain a broad technical knowledge of aviation wordings and the LAUA blue book.
