As a Marketing Manager at YorPartyNetwork, I am responsible for the end-to-end marketing and promotion of events, working closely with clubs, societies, and venues to create exciting and engaging experiences. Working for a student recruitment company, operating within York. Communicating with local businesses, predominantly within the hospitality and retail industry, providing employment for students that would otherwise struggle to provide flexible working. Within this, I managed a small team of two students, relaying information of opportunities that have emerged, to ensure the site managers can keep us up to date with job opportunities, ultimately maintaining client relations. This role is carried out almost entirely remotely, with occasional visits to sites to network with new managers and potential clients. The skills required were; proficiency in excel, communication skills, ability to network and build client relations and time management.
