I currently lead teams of Data Scientists that are focused on business area specific portfolios of work. These teams work with business functions across the enterprise as well as our Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers to find ways to help solve business problems through Analytic Model Development, Machine Learning, Forecasting, Statistical Analysis, Natural Language Processing, and Designed Experiments and Testing.

I led the Advanced Analytics function within State Farm's Strategic Resources research department. Our team worked with business functions across the enterprise to find ways to help solve business problems through predictive models, statistical analysis, text mining, and designed experiments and testing.

My focus was on business analytics, specifically on data management and display. I was accountable for enterprise data assets that aid in organizational decision making at all levels. In addition, I worked to ensure data was captured and managed appropriately for business focused advanced analytics.

My focus was on creating and communicating an enterprise view of the customer experience at State farm. This included relating the customer experience to employees and competitors to understand the complete customer journey and how to improve it.

I was accountable for creating and implementing the strategy for State Farm's B2B and B2E environments, including our Information Workplace initiative. In addition, I was accountable for digital analytics across our digital properties.

I was a part of the State Farm Information Technology Research and Development Team. My responsibilities included oversight of the business and technical lab environments used for our innovation process.

I had a variety of responsibilities within the State Farm IT Service Management function. Examples included leading specific process teams, such as Service Level Management, and leading the strategy and architecture team for the enterprise ITIL implementation.

I was responsbile for managing the IT help desks for first and second level customer and associate support.

I held a variety of positions including second level server support and command center coordinator.

Attended two years of school focused on analog/digital electronics theory and application, acoustic analysis, and Naval studies. I spent the next four years maintaining and operating shipboard sonar systems in the Pacific fleet.
