In its current form, Genera Inc utilized its agricultural experiences to become downstream integrated as a leading manufacturer of sustainable ag-based fiber products, including pulp and molded fiber food packaging. Dr. Jackson has served on the Senior Management Team of Genera and co-led the successful project development, financing, construction, and operation of Genera’s fiber products manufacturing facility, the largest of its kind in North America. An expert in biobased manufacturing, sustainability, and energy, Sam also has an in-depth understanding of biobased conversion/process technologies and challenges associated with scale-up of those technologies. Understanding the broad industry helps him integrate feedstock and technology solutions to help customers and partners be successful.Dr. Jackson has a diverse background in business development for innovative technologies and services. He is experienced in intellectual property protection, negotiating dozens of nondisclosure and non-compete agreements. He has led negotiations for multi-million dollar contracts to provide services, management, products and other expertise to customers. He has also led the planning, implementation, and completion of those agreements.
