• Responsible for day-to-day supervision of department team members to include staff meetings, individual training, regular review of productivity, quality control standards, and service level management. • Help manage a team of mortgage underwriters, analyze income, review credit, and approve loans. • Work closely with branches to ensure the highest possible member service experience. • Support Department efforts to prepare for and respond to internal and external audits. • Ensure compliance to secondary marketing guidelines for underwriting, processing, funding, quality control, mortgage insurance, and loan sales. • Assist members with complaints and problems. Advise management of member service issues that need to be addressed by senior management. • Ensure Department service levels are achieved. • Monitor the Pre-funding QC review, as well as support the Loan Review area on the post-closing QC review • Prepare reports for various aspects of review ie: risk, rate locks, incomplete files, turn times and overall productivity.
