• Responsible for day-to-day supervision of department team members to include staff meetings, individual training, regular review of productivity, quality control standards, and service level management.
• Help manage a team of mortgage underwriters, analyze income, review credit, and approve loans.
• Work closely with branches to ensure the highest possible member service experience.
• Support Department efforts to prepare for and respond to internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance to secondary marketing guidelines for underwriting, processing, funding, quality control, mortgage insurance, and loan sales.
• Assist members with complaints and problems. Advise management of member service issues that need to be addressed by senior management.

I direct a team of supervisors and underwriters that review borrowers for loan modifications for all the different investors we service from FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA to Private and bank owned. I am part of a Peer Advisory Group to help facilitate procedure and policy issues as well as participate in QA calibrations to ensure that we are meeting our.

Managed 19 underwriters on production, quality and time management. The team averaged 113% of productivity goal and had a QC average of 98% when the minimum was 90%. Managed through guideline changes as we moved the portfolio from 80% jumbo/portfolio product to 90% conforming product in less than 6 months. Had signing authority to $3 Million on loan.

Managed a sales force to increase the number of net branches in the network. Worked with the President and Ops Manager to increase the effeciencies and profit of each branch. Worked with the compliance and licensing team to ensure we were licensed and compliant with all the state regulations.

I managed the mortgage division of a real estate company with over 50 LO's and 12 processors.

Managed 12 underwriters, worked with Secondary Marketing Manager on the bulk sales and managed to the companies credit and sales goals.

I started out as a Jr. U/W, was promoted to Client Relations Manger where I managed 4 customer service reps and two inside sales reps and then was promoted to a Branch Area Specialist where I worked with the Retail Prime Branches on the ins and outs of the subprime business.

I increased the Home Lending Branches Subprime production to increase the branches bottom line
