I proactively sought work experience with Symon Brothers Construction to further develop my knowledge and skills in construction. My major achievement included managing small sub-divisions stages under time and under-budget by just shy of 5% whilst still a student. Experience in this role was split into onsite construction management and office based work to maximise exposure to practical engineering and administrative engineering tasks.

I completed one year work placement as a student engineer at Nillumbik Shire Council. My major achievement included running infrastructure solely for six weeks while entire team either fell ill or went on vacation. I was proven to be independent with project management, excelling at establishing rapport with clients and communicating with contractors. I was confident in administrative duties such as cost management and designing capital works projects (drainage, roads, ramps, paths) using AutoCad, Revit and Space Gass. My role also heavily involved construction supervision of land development projects. Much of my duties involved demanded work in both independent and team-based settings.

Sought out work as a receptionist at a local dental clinic. My main role was to provide customer service by addressing departments phone and managing patient appointments. I also managed stock, and processed cash registers, including EFTPOS and HICAPS. Before leaving the role, I was made head of administration as a reward for my hard work and experience in the field.
