As a personal assistant (PA) to a disabled student, I saw the lifechanging effect quality support can have on the lives of young disabled adults.Inspired to give other young disabled adults the opportunity to live an independent life and achieve all they aspire to achieve, I co-founded LiveYou alongside Daniel, who I had been working with for the past few years as his PA. Our aim at LiveYou is to provide young disabled adults with high-quality support packages which focus on matching individuals with PAs who have similar hobbies, interests and a positive outlook on life. By providing support tailored specifically to them, young disabled adults can flourish, achieve all they wish to achieve and live happy, independent, lives.

Skegness Partnership is an organisation comprised of local businesses with the common goal; making Skegness a prosperous place to be. I had various roles within Skegness Partnership, however my most significant was my work on a feasibility study for a Skegness Fish & Chips Festival in 2017. Having been commissioned this task it was my responsibility to conduct all the necessary market research, meet numerous stakeholders (such as potential sponsors, fish and chips restaurant owners etc.), produce concept marketing material and produce the final written report. This process was undertaken over the summer 2016.Other roles at the partnership include; producing entry forms for the Skegness Business Awards and marketing and selling the first ever Skegness Lottery.

Junior Events Manager for the Friday night event at the O2 Academy, Dirty Pop. This event regularly attracts over 1000 attendees per week and is one of the longest running weekly events in Newcastle, starting in 2007. My role as Junior Manager is to assist the event managers in the organisation and marketing of the event before hand, and the smooth running of the event on the night. Responsibilities include; ensuring all staff are correctly and effectively marketing the event before hand, through both social media and face to face networking. Additionally, ensuring all staff are performing effectively on the night, and dealing with any staff and customer issues.

Christmas Temporary role as an online shopper. Collecting items ordered by customers, working to tight time restraints to meet targets.
