My name is Sam Kemp, and I am a current senior at Furman University in Greenville, SC. Immediately upon starting undergraduate studies I realized that sports media production was the field I am meant to be in. For 3+ years I have relentlessly chased improvement in my work. This is done through heavy strategic planning ahead of photo and video shoots, self-reflection and review following events, and many critiques from a curated network of talented professional creatives surrounding me. I currently hold a contracted role with Furman Men's Basketball as the Head of Digital Content. I am the primary source for photo and video production, along with strategizing and planning content for socials. I look forward to giving this role my all and continuing to improve through repetition and reflection through the full 2024-2025 CBB season. In May I will receive my diploma: a B.A. in Communication Studies on the Media Studies track. Following the completion of college, I will be looking for a full-time role in photo or video production for a collegiate or professional athletics program.
