Level 2 lab technician apprenticeship with placement at Cytocell l.t.d. assisted staff with preparing reagents for FISH probes (Fluorescent in situ hybridisation), monitoring stock levels and ordering materials, setting up shared work spaces and waterbaths, QA checks and maintenance of lab equipment, autoclaving, nanodrop, and glasswashing. was offered a full time role after completing my qualification and stayed until returning to full time education.
