Sam Marley Email and Phone Number
I am excited about my future and the opportunities that will arise.I was always good at economics and math throughout school and fittingly they were two my favourite subjects. But I didn't know what to do with the skills I gained from these subjects and from high school in general. Early after leaving high school I was named in the 2016 Junior Black Sox softball team to compete in the Junior World Series in Michigan, U.S.A. So my main focus at the time was to earn enough money to fund my trip so I started working in a construction company. I enjoyed my job and worked with some really interesting people but I also knew it was not what I wanted. After a year working and a second place at the Junior World Series I decided to pick up the books and study.I decided I would do a Bachelor of Commerce, but I had no idea what to major in but after the first year of doing a bit of everything and a random chat on a plane to a business man, I had decided to set my sights on economics and finance. This was also a good fit considering my strengths at high school. Which brings me to now, 2 trimesters away from graduating with my BCom and enjoying my studies but knowing the next step of finding a job is looming around the corner. Some key things about me: - I am a competent leader: I have been the captain of multiple sports teams including several regional and national softball teams, I was also a prefect and a leader of individual groups at Tawa College, on top of this I am in charge of less experienced staff at my current workplace- I am sociable and friendly: I get along with people from all walks of life. Working in the construction industry, at a cafe and going to university I have had the opportunity to meet and connect with many different people.- I work hard: I am currently working two jobs on the weekdays I do not have class and on Sundays. On top of this I maintain my training for sports at a high level. My goal is to do what I enjoy and to succeed at it.
