I became a Geospatial Environmental Scientist because I seek to address the greatest challenges of our time: climate change and the biodiversity crisis. My climate action-focused interests include site selection for renewable energy, renewable energy market research and regulatory analysis, and sea level rise risk analysis. My biodiversity-focused interests include: nature-based climate solutions, novel ecosystems, research into keystone species, citizen science initiatives, new techniques for wildlife conservation in the Anthropocene, ecosystem modeling, and advanced remote sensing.
