Managing and leading the commercial conversions with all Unilever partners within the media eco-system. This includes agency networks, media partners and other suppliers in the media/ad-tech space. Responsibility includes leading some of the larger negotiations, including the development of the strategy, conducting the negotiation, developing KPIs and agreeing terms. Using my agency and strong trading background, this position is a procurement role managing the global media agency relationships across 65 markets, and 3 business units.• Co-ordinate annual TV price pitch for all 65 markets and BU’s. This requires accurate collation of market by market requirements, liaising with both RB and media agency leads globally and locally, managing the bid platform, analysing pitch submissions, summarizing results, feeding back to agencies, and to both local and senior global RB leadership, making recommendations of appointment, and final communication of results.• Contract negotiation with agency and suppliers• Negotiating annual agency fees and bonus payments.• Monitor deal delivery across all markets, quickly and effectively addressing any areas of concern ensuring all measured KPI’s are met, and compensation delivered if not.• Run all agency evaluations, media and financial audits, agreeing scope of works with auditors and related fees.• Act as day to day contact for all market media leads and guide and assisting them with agency challenges and delivery.• Deliver best practice recommendations for effective implementational media planning across all markets.
