Naval Architect and Project Engineer at InterMoor Ltd. Since completing my MEng in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering with Distinction at the University of Strathclyde, I've had the privilege of being a part of the InterMoor Ltd. team for the past two years. It has been an exciting journey of professional growth and development, progressing from a Graduate Naval Architect to my current role as a dedicated Project Engineer.One of the aspects I truly cherish is the opportunity to see a project evolve from the drawing board to its completion offshore. Being able to ensure a smooth and safe execution of procedures throughout the process brings immense satisfaction to my work.As part of my responsibilities, I carry out extensive analyses for offshore mooring systems in various weather conditions, components, and site locations to meet regulatory requirements. Moreover, I diligently perform further calculations offshore to guarantee error-free implementation as well as oversee the successful completion of projects. The culmination of each project involves creating comprehensive reports detailing the analyses and procedures, including a post-project completion report.With over 20 completed projects under my belt, including 4 offshore projects with a 5th soon to follow, my most recent endeavor as a project engineer in June 2023 was particularly rewarding.Looking ahead, I'm committed to striving for excellence and advancing my career, seeking every opportunity to learn and grow along the way. The marine industry holds numerous challenges to be solved, and I am determined to make a significant contribution in tackling them.
