I started work as a crane engineer in 2013 after completing my A-Levels. I then completed an Apprenticeship with Granada Material Handling and achieved a double Distinction*. The apprenticeship included PEO Level 2, NVQ Level 3 and Btec Level 3. I then went on to do my higher apprenticeship which included NVQ Level 4 and HNC. Following this, I completed a foundation degree, followed by a BEng in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.Currently, I take part in all elements of crane maintenance and project work. I am very comfortable working with different manufacturer's cranes and their components both electrical and mechanical. I work well in a team and individually; I am happy to listen and learn as well as offering my advice and teaching when it is needed.
