When starting this role I needed to quickly adjust to a team working environment whilst working under pressure. My main role is to provide the customer with quality service and product. This has allowed me to develop my team working and interpersonal skills further. This experience has also allowed me to develop my ability to work under pressure as service is fast paced and I need to make sure any chance of customer dissatisfaction is eliminated.

I spent 6 months within this role, although not the longest period of time it allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills massively. Sales was very important; however, my main job was to provide the customer with the best service and support possible. This included design inspiration, recommendation of products and overall building a strong relationship with the customer to gain a better understanding of their project at hand. Through doing this I could design a project tailored to their needs and eventually close the sale thereby meeting individual monthly targets set by my manager.
