I wanted to try serving as a way to sharpen my customer service and sales skills. I love the way this job has challenged me with its fast pace and constant activity.

As technical director its my responsibility to record and produce the live races at the utmost possible quality. I control the audio, graphics, and video elements of the production. I work with a small production team and provide replays to the public and the judges at their request.

As one of two summer students at Pioneer Acres I led tours ran the gift shop and catalogued several hundred artifacts. I also assisted with the museums social media and produced a 30 second commercial for them.

As many other young men do I spent a few months in the northern part of the province working as a pipeline construction labourer. Despite the weather and long hours I grew to love the hard work and appreciate my tough as nails coworkers.
