Sam is a Power Systems Engineer with existing experience in Distribution Networks, Civil Construction and Power System Studies in the Renewables Sector. He has performed modelling, research, and reporting in both Public and Private sectors, from studies on the use of Drone Systems and Thermal Imaging for Large-scale Solar PV to Project Management work on $910M TNRP reconstruction of 3000 km of road in SW QLD. Sam undertook international work experience in Germany with Fraunhofer IAO. His undergraduate thesis was on the topic of Integrating Renewables into the NEM, modelling the inclusion of projects such as Kidston Mine into the existing network, and assessing the future challenges expected or unknown according to AEMO's ISP. Sam excels in both communication and technical roles, and strives for innovation and inspiration in such an exciting and rapidly developing industry.
