Senior Special Events And Conference Coordinator
Current- Leads, plans logistics, and supports events in all major museum spaces for Smithsonian Institution units that do not have their own special events teams
- Works with and coordinates logistics for outside corporations and organizations that hold events at the Smithsonian Castle in celebration of their donations to the Institution
- Prepares event timelines and budgets; tracks expenses and insures payments are sent to vendors; keeps team on schedule for upcoming events
- Composes event memos for distribution to event teams, including vendors and internal security and facilities departments
- Keeps detailed notes on event logistics and prepares post-event wrap-up reports
- Liaises and strategizes with Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Advancement, Office of the Regents, and Office of Public Affairs on their events
