Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Burke Hunter Adams. I have been with Burke Hunter Adams since September 2022, with experience in Cost Estimating, Tender documentation and contract administration. I am currently studying part time for my degree of Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at UWE Bristol and have achieved a 1st two years running making it onto the Deans list for excellent academic performance. For many years I have had an interest in the built environment. During a work experience with 21 Construction, I was able to discuss the different sectors of construction and that’s where I realised Quantity Surveying was a career I would love to be involved in. I have spent time as a Treasurer for UWE Hiking, allowing me the experience of budgeting, planning and discussing finances with other team members and liaising with the university to provide the best sessions possible. I have worked at a pharmacy developing my communication skills and customer service skills, and have developed a good product knowledge allowing me a high level of confidence serving customers and making sure their requirements are met. Achieving my 10 GCSEs and 3 A-Levels with an Extended project Qualification whilst managing a job, I believe that this substantiates my time management and multitasking abilities.
