I am a 27-year-old New Zealander, currently working as a Construction Manager in London.My original background is in land surveying, for which I gained a BSURV from the University of Otago. Following graduation, I relocated to Auckland where I worked at Woods - a consultancy specialising in land development and greenfield subdivision. My roles at Woods includes both surveying and land development engineering positions - which helped me to gain the necessary experience and knowledge to attain my LCS certificate in 2022.Some of the notable projects I contributed to include the Milldale Development, Millwater Development, and the Roskill-South Kāinga Ora regeneration. Following nearly four years with Woods, I set off on my OE to Europe. This includes travel and a ‘sabbatical’ of sorts in the French Alps, where I worked for a catered ski lodge company, Geeski, for the winter season.Now, I am in London, and working with Riney as a Construction Manager. As a subsidiary of CRH working under the TKJV umbrella, I am thankful to be gaining some valuable experience managing projects across the Newham, Enfield and Tower Hamlets Boroughs - some notable project including the Royal Docks (West Silvertown) Corridor Upgrades and Enfield Town Rejuvenation Projects.I am excited for the future work opportunities London has to offer me and the unique challenged I will face in the future!
