Responsible for managing the newspaper’s website (Bedford.wickedlocal.com) and social media channels. · Prior to being hired, the Minuteman’s readership had decreased over each of the previous 12, 24 and 36 months; in the 12 months since being hired as editor, print circulation has increased 10-percent and website traffic has grown significantly.· Write 8-12 stories per week of meticulous copy. Stories include profiles and human interest features, enterprise reporting pieces, town hall news, local government and business stories, breakings news, police logs and briefs. Publish stories across multiple platforms. · Edit, proof and format every piece of copy in both print and online (30-60 print articles per week). · Responsible for layout and design of every page in the newspaper.
