I was part of the team that worked on the engineering, retail, systems, facilities and IT due diligence.

Created the DevOps team at Shutl, transforming a reactive systems group into a pro-active team that is focused on business value, is pragmatic with risk and aligned to the product development roadmap and engineering efforts. Building and leading world-class delivery practices at Evently, an early-stage SaaS startup in the event space. I helped create and run a high-performance team focusing on customer value and flow.

Agile project manager and software engineering manager, collaborating on the agile transformation of the 50+ person IT team. With my team I worked primarily in operations, logistics and warehousing where we deployed a third-party WMS solution to our global distribution and warehouse network, shipping 100,000 units a day. I also ran projects in finance, content, customer services and business intelligence.The Hut Group is the largest sports nutrition supplier in Europe, as well as the largest health and beauty retailer and a top-three entertainments retailer in the UK.

I started at Setfire as a developer and soon grew into a leadership role and was promoted to the board. I led multiple technical teams with 10+ reports, and worked with internal and external stakeholders to drive value and to delight customers.I was developer #1 and the ongoing technical leader for Setfire Media’s great success story: On The Beach Travel. Alongside the CEO we started the online business in 2005, sold at a valuation of £40m two years later and grew revenue double digits every year following. On The Beach is now a major UK travel agent and one of the UK's most successful ruby startups. They IPO'd in 2015.
