Director of Nursing at a 2200 bed correctional facility in Kuna, ID where I provided quality oversight in collaboration with site medical director and health services administrator. Responsibilities ranged from the evaluation of the patient care delivery processes; identification of performance improvement opportunities, development; implementation and monitoring of action plans to drive improvement through ongoing analysis of data and results; facilitating random and scheduled audits ensuring site compliance with regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and accreditation standards;interview, hire, and train new personnel.

I travel to ambulatory surgery centers all over Denver, CO filling needs in their recovery rooms. This job requires me to be proficient with the recovery process and adaptable to any situation. Post-op recovery is a specialty I love and am passionate about. Having the opportunity to travel to multiple surgery centers has advanced my knowledge of the surgical process, recovery management, and home care. I've had the privilege of working along side hundreds of Physicians and nurses, which has been a valuable experience to me.
