- Sell Travel Products including ticketing and tour packages.- Establish contacts with the company airline account officers; source for clients to increase clientele.- Create client database and account for all third party agents and individuals.- Dealing with customer inquiries and liaising with customer to meet their travel needs.- Scrutinize all quotations and ensuring that the fare quotations given are the best in the selling market.- Protect and be responsible for sign-in codes assigned- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales report showing, voided, refunded and sold tickets.- Work with tour staff to package at least 2 tours in the course of the year.- Manage junior staffs to ensure effective productivity and delivery of excellent customer services.- Promoting and marketing the business, sometimes to new or niche markets;- Selling travel products and tour packages;- Sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism;- Taking part in familiarisation visits to new destinations in order to gain information on issues and amenities of interest to consumers;- liaising with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules, often one year in advance;- Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations;- Develop and prepare short-term and long-term plans and budgets that will ensure the effectiveness of the unit, based on organization goals and objectives. - Ensures all reservations and bookings are performed in compliance with company policies.
- Produces timely, accurate, and complete reports on the state of operations to the CEO.- Establishes and monitors financial and other operations performance reporting systems; provides comprehensive and timely financial information to the Senior Management Team
