 This position involves server and client side quality assurance testing of multiple products in the Unified Communications space. These server products are based on JAVA platforms utilizing NGINX and Cassandra/MySQL/PostgreSQL databases while clients reside on Apple’s IPad/IPhone devices. The Agile Sprint software development approach is used to increase.

 Customer Trials and Support of Nortel’s Internet Protocol Multi-Media Server (IMS) solution utilizing IBM’s Blade Center and Motorola’s VSE Linux based platforms. Responsibilities included main contact for customer software, hardware and configuration issues for the IMS core, Home Subscriber System (HSS) and Wireless Mobility Gateway (WMG) platforms..

 System Validation at a solution level for Nortel’s Succession CS2000 VoIP platform on loads SN05 thru SN10. Performed several team lead test roles including stints in the Carrier Robustness program, International IP Packet Trunking Solution and the Geographical Survivability solution. Lab hardware included Nortels DMS Xa-Core, Compact 3PC and Versatile.

 This position centered on the verification of Nortel’s Broadband Signalling Transfer Point and Universal Signalling point (USP) from a nodal perspective. The software and hardware served as a platform for ANSI and ITU Common Channel Signalling protocols. Test areas involved SS7 sub components MTP, SCCP and TCAP at a nodal level:- Review and provide input.

 This position involved two parts: 1) Maintenance of Bell Canada’s telephony network with a focus on local and toll network switching. Activities included maintenance, installation and software deployment using Nortel’s Digital Multiplex Switching (DMS) technology. 2) As part of Bell Canada International I was on-loan to Nortel Network’s in a consulting.
