This position centered on the verification of Nortel’s Broadband Signalling Transfer Point and Universal Signalling point (USP) from a nodal perspective. The software and hardware served as a platform for ANSI and ITU Common Channel Signalling protocols. This device acted as a Signalling Gateway for IP to SS7- Team lead the test effort for the introduction of ITU 14 bit and China 24 bit feature introduction over IP/ATM high speed links and M3UA/SCTP protocols- Preparation of test strategies, test plans and test case suites. Evaluate the proposed test approach in terms of possible alternatives, improved approaches, quality and reusability- Co-ordinate the setup of the required lab environment and the weekly/daily execution of test cases to validate functionality and conformance to CCITT (q.7XX) and ANSI (T1.111.x) standards- Analyze test scenarios for correct operation and worked with design groups to expose problem areas
