Te Mana o te Taiao - Aotearoa New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy 2020 (ANZBS) sets a strategic direction for the protection and restoration of biodiversity in Aotearoa New Zealand, particularly indigenous biodiversity, from 2020 to 2050. Te Papa Atawhai is leading the initial implementation of the Strategy and working to transition the Strategy to being a shared responsibility of the biodiversity sector and all of Aotearoa.My role:- Creates, designs and builds the strategic implementation pathway for the Strategy to achieve its 2025 goals across the biodiversity sector. - Leads strategic planning activities through an adaptive approach to implementation.- Works closely with internal teams across the department and across agencies/whole biodiversity sector to facilitate strategic planning and engagement activities.- Maintains close linkages with other DOC and government initiatives which may impact the strategy.
