This position requires me to be attentive in receiving orders and efficient in delivering them. While this position has flexible hours, allowing me to work on my own schedule, it also requires significant responsibility, as my job required me to effectively communicate with customers about order details and to arrange a drop-off location without supervision. Doordashing has allowed my confidence regarding my communication, independence, and customer service skills to flourish, preparing me to succeed in these areas in a more advanced position. I am eager to apply the abilities I have gained from this job to my next position.

In this position, I conducted independent research on the efficacy of heat pumps as a sustainable source of energy for the town of Avon's Clean Energy Commission. Along with research, my project was comprised of interviews with local experts on heat pumps, community outreach, and a final presentation of my findings to the Avon Clean Energy Commission.

This position required me to be responsible for different groups of childrenthroughout the day, whether it be running entertaining and enriching activities or assisting in the safe transportation of campers from one activity to another as well as entertaining and being responsible for them during lunch and downtime. This position required me to be exceptionally organized and engaged, as well as being able to effectively communicate with parents, other employees, and constructively resolve conflicts. Overall, this position strengthened my responsibility, flexibility, and communication skills in critical ways that I am excited to apply to my next professional pursuit.
