I have joined the planning department at Harris Lamb. My role is to advise clients on all planning related matters, including the development of strategies and appraising of sites, promotion of sites to local authorities and the preparation, submission and managing of planning applications.

In my short time at Malvern Hills, I delivered and gave advice on a number of major housing applications and proposals. I also appeared for the council as an expert witness at a Public Inquiry.

My role at East Staffordshire focused on managing a case load of major planning applications and providing planning advice to clients. My caseload included a couple of significant major housing developments, including a development of 510 houses and a primary school, which includes the conversion of four listed buildings, on an employment site. I also assisted in the formulation of development manage policies for the emerging local plan.

I managed a case load that encompassed the full range of planning applications and appeals, including defending a number of appeals through the Hearing process and giving evidence at a public inquiry. I contributed to the delivery of the service by assisting in the development of the pre-application process, maintaining the website and assisting in improving the internal IT systems.
