Placement school: Saint Mellons Church in Wales Primary School - references can be made on request. Taught year 1 & 2 on my first placement gaining a comprehensive understanding of the foundation phase. Currently teaching year 5 & 6 pupils focusing my pedagogical development on numeracy and literacy.

Working on a social integration project, I supported staff with all aspects of running the kindergarten. I independently ran an after-school club that aimed to socially integrate refugees and provide additional pastoral support in a cross-cultural setting.

Voluntary advisory/administrative role. Engaged with LGBT community on how to access services and provided information on key legislation and wide ranging inquiries about adoption, same sex marriage, housing, welfare, employment, asylum or providing materials/resources to schools, police stations and community groups to combat homophobia and mobilize change. This role also involved case-load management.
