- Utilize eye tracking data of UAV pilots in Navy to find methods to reduce visual sensory overload,improve piloting interface, and make the process of flying UAVs more efficient- Use Python Data Science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) in order to work with the data- My specific contributions include: preprocessing data, writing a data quality program to check for statistical noise and inaccurate readings by the eye tracker, and devising an event detection algorithm to check for rapid eye movements (saccadic movement) and extended gaze points (fixations). I also contributed to a multifunctional GUI tool that integrated all previously mentioned steps of analysis with the goal that it will be used for years to come by the Riggs lab
