From the operational side of Share Plans, I made the transition into implementing the types of Plans that I once administered. This position entailed working with companies to launch new retention schemes to their employees before passing the company over to the operational team within Capita who then administer these Plans using pre-agreed processed drafted by myself.This position involves delivering multiple service products to multiple clients in restricted, and on occasion, tight deadlines. I have been part of two ‘high-ticket’ projects that spread across multiple countries and involved proving online services and communications in multiple languages for circa 10,000 potential participants. To effectively carry out my duties, I had to balance project management and executions of the necessary tasks whilst minimising / managing risks and providing a high quality service to the clients involved.

The dedicated team I worked within provided attentive and consistently high quality services to clients believed to be of great value to Capita. In doing so it is imperative that a good customer-client relationship is maintained and that all required information and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Having started off as a temporary administrator, I was offered the position of senior administrator within the first month as reward for my ability to pick information up quickly and apply it correctly and systematically. I was promoted to the Deputy Supervisor role shortly after. This role was to partake, and oversee the operational running of a number of Share Plans for a small number of high profile clients. I was responsible for the management and execution of large, high value vestings, producing reports on a monthly and quarterly basis, assisting in customer queries and training other team members to better their knowledge of Share Plans.

For this position I performed numerous tasks, covering many aspects of the business. My main tasks included taking and processing initial and balance payments for the customer’s narrowboat hire, creating customer invoices, as well as paying bills and dealing with staff wages. Covering all these tasks allowed me to become extremely competent using the finance software package VT. Amongst these tasks, I performed a number of administrative tasks, including the processing of bookings and preparation of customer paperwork. Customer interaction was a large part of this job, including tasks such as handling telephone queries, and performing intensive, concise narrowboat hand over procedures which instructed customers on how to maintain the narrowboat as well as steer it. I strived to achieve good, friendly customer satisfaction with every person I dealt with. Preparation of the narrowboats, ready for customer arrival was another aspect of the job that I performed.
