I have a private counselling practice working primarily online as well as offering low cost, affordable therapy through Gloucestershire Counselling Service (GCS) who are a British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) member institution. I also work with Avon Counselling and Psychotherapy Service who offer professional counselling and psychotherapy in Bristol, Bath and remotely.I work within the Psychodynamic frame and I am also a qualified EMDR Practitioner. I am registered with the BPC and I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).I work as a tutor for GCS offering training that aligns with the BACP recommendations for counsellor training. I deliver GCS’ Introduction to Counselling intensive weekend course (CPBAC Levels 1 / 2) and have delivered the theory sessions for the GCS one year Certificate in Counselling Skills programme (CPBAC Levels 2 and 3). It's rewarding working with people who are thinking about become counsellors and I'm passionate about sharing the theory, the foundation skills and using case studies to bring the work alive.In the past, I’ve worked with FTSE 250 companies as a coach and trainer, with local community colleges supporting Drugs and Alcohol Services, with Youth Offending Teams as a mentor and I worked with Gloucestershire Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre (GRASAC) offering support and guidance to survivors of sexual assault and rape. I’ve offered counselling in both charity and private settings working with adults to help them to overcome the emotional challenges of life.
