KEY ACHIEVEMENTS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE- BSI committee member: Proactively pursued to become a member of BSI 88 88 (TRP-08-1) committee after receiving Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing qualifications. Regularly meet with the industry leading experts. This gives me an opportunity to learn from the best and influence the future of GD & T in British engineering. This is on a voluntary basis whilst representing ASMPT – I can continue this outside of my current job.- Patent published: through ASM for a mechanical alignment feature. Variants of this feature is now used in SMT carrier designs. Patent ref: GB2584680- Product specifications: Technical contact for many first article tooling solutions, which has been highly conducive to realising product specifications based on customer input, these have often been refined via on site customer consultation. This has given me great confidence when presenting in front of customers whilst in the hot seat.- Design of singulated tooling systems for high value customers.- Regularly Producing, releasing and approving full manufacturing drawing packs to current BSI standards.- Strong relationship and knowledge of locally manufacturer companies.- Globalisation of generic designs. Implemented parametrically based 3D models to assist global regions. This made the design of “variation of a theme” a more efficient process.
