Senior Medical Secretary Supervisor, ENT Head & Neck with University Hospitals Birmingham providing secretarial support to several ENT and Head & Neck Consultants. I'm an active member of the LGBTQ+ Network within the Trust, supporting policy development, local events and of course attending Pride as a visible NHS employee.Following a break in employment due to a back injury I worked with severely autistic children and young adults at an SEN school and college teaching communication, life and living skills.I have worked in a wide variety of sectors, including the oil and gas sector whilst living in Aberdeen dispatching offshore engineers, coordinating their training needs, arranging passports, visas and travel globally. Following relocation from Aberdeen back to the West Midlands I worked for West Midlands Fire Service on their "Near Hit" system, logging and recording incidents involving uniformed and non-uniformed personnel, working closely with the Health & Safety Officer on how to avoid these going forwards. I have also worked as a Team Coordinator with Culture West Midlands, working to bring together the culture sector on combined projects including research and development.
