As Regional Communications Director for BBDO, Sam is responsible for managing PR and corporate communications for 28 offices across Asia Pacific. Reporting directly to the CEO, she is based out of Singapore and works closely with the heads of local offices to drive BBDO’s brand and reputation.

Hong Kong

Sam was tasked with the setting up a new business unit, managing a team which produced a range of regional events across sectors from technology to financial services, in addition to handling key client relationships in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai. The role involved working closely with the editorial team; acting as liaison between clients and journalists as well as representing Campaign magazine at internal and external events/public speaking engagements. A core responsibility was liaising with key media organisations and industry associations across Asia Pacific.

Sam held a regional role and was responsible for the development of conference and training programmes, managing an entire suite of events and key stakeholder relations from Australia to India (with both elected officials and senior civil servants).As the external face of FutureGov, her role centred on building and maintaining strong relationships with government and hosting gatherings with regional government officials and senior civil servants. She chaired the conferences to allow further rapport and understanding of major policy issues across the region and frequently acted as a intermediary, coordinating meetings between visiting officials and Singapore government counterparts as well as the public sector teams of large corporations.
