Interim Event Manager for the BBC Correspondents’ Dinner at the Langham London on the 3rd July 2023.Responsible for liaising with the Committee and full pre-planning as well as onsite delivery of this event. The event is for 210 guests and includes a drinks reception in the Courtyard and a 3-course sit down dinner with speeches,silent auction, live auction by and AV set up.Management of celebrity accommodation and travel requirements as well as briefings for all staff and volunteers. Creation of briefs and speeches.

Working with the board to manage donors and fundraising opportunities. Responsible for events and fundraising, website updates and social media, liaising with the Autism Research Centre regarding their grant applications, updates and reports, liaising with scientific advisors to ensure applications were robust and relevantCreation and management of the fundraising strategy.Management and planning of a Rubik’s Cube panel session at Cambridge University, private events at Hoare’s Bank, donor development evening with Jools Holland, ART’s participation in the BGC Charity Day.

Responsible for a team of 5 and an income budget of £850,000.Areas of responsibility included full project management, budgets, strategy, management reporting, celebrity management and donor development.Responsible for mass participation running and cycling events, working with colleagues on new events and increasing participation in existing events.

Development of the special events programme.Project manager on flagship Stars Shine for Autism fundraising dinner, with entertainment by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Alfie Boe. Venues included Spitalfields Church & Drapers Hall. Organising a private fundraising dinner in partnership with our corporate partner at the Renaissance Hotel, St Pancras.Organising the Committee led Spectrum Ball at the Savoy with Tony Hadley performing.Lead on private gallery events and donor development receptions at private members clubs and corporate offices.Liaison with the Royal Protocol Officer on attendance of HRH the Countess of Wessex across several events.

Event Director for the La Dolce Vita and Grand Prix Ball brands.Organising the most luxurious parties in London, Silverstone and Monaco.London venues included Old Billingsgate Market and the Natural History Museum. Monaco was the Salle des Etoiles & Silverstone was a marquee at Stowe House.Artists included Sting, Beyoncé, Lionel Ritchie, Kool and the Gang, Blue, Liberty X, Craig David, Stereophonics. Working on concepts that would enhance the guest experience Management and implementation of branding at the event.Ensuring sponsorship fulfilment was delivered to high standards & within budget.Management of marketing budgets and channels. Co-ordination of media plans in conjunction with the PR Agency.
