- Maintain day to day operations of department with staff of 15 project engineers and managers.- Review and approve proposals, budgets, test plan documents, travel expense reports, final reports, and purchases.- Coordinate and attend customer meetings for purposes of marketing, benchmarking, performance review, testplanning, and resolution of issues.- Serve on Business Analysis Group reviewing new customers, pricing, potential customer complaints, incidents.- Post open jobs, review candidates, conduct phone screens, set up and conduct interviews.- Collect data and compile for bi-annual employee reviews.- Attend monthly management training on topics including review of HR issues and disposition. Round table discussionfor opportunities for improvement.

- Negotiation and tracking of contracts with customer base including federal and state agencies, and private industries.- Approval of proposal letters, budgets, invoices, and other deliverables. - Creation and delivery of responses to RFQ'sand grant opportunities.- Complete new supplier documents working with purchasing departments of large customer base.- Processing of incoming purchase orders, and other funding authorizations including task orders utilizing multiplesystems including SAP, Taulia, Xign.- Acceptance of contracts including government issued SF30's after evaluation of contract and applicable FAR clauses.- Close out process for completed projects including evaluation of work completion, budget, final invoicing, includingexecution of federal closeout documents.- Administration of company insurance programs and responsible for fleet registrations.- Filing and retention of contractual documents for up to 900 active projects, and maintaining updated registrationsincluding ORCA/SAM.- Chair of the Business Analysis Group tracking and making decisions regarding new business opportunities, pricingstructure, deviations from standard practices, and customer communications. Responsible for organizing weekly meeting, minutes from meetings and quarterly report presented to all levels of management.- Member of Improvement Steering Council mainly focusing on document control and ISO certifications.- Customer relations, and trade show marketing. Technical presentation to industry.
