As an intern, my responsibility included: attending federal legislative committee meetings and voting sessions, assisting in the daily news monitoring service, conducting research projects, monitoring legislation for various lobbyists, and becoming involved in various ongoing projects. Furthermore, as an intern, I exposed myself to opportunities that further developed my practical political and advocacy skills.

While interning for the Office of Congressman Leonard Lance, my responsibilities included, attending Congressional Committee hearings, attending Congressional Voting Sessions, acting as a liaison between the Congressman, his staffers and his constituents, inputting data and maintaining files on Intranet Quorum, drafting letters to constituents responding to various request, creating memorandums and summaries of Congressional bills for staff members and the Congressman, and creating graphics and visuals for the Congressman’s television program.

As an intern, my responsibility included, but were not limited to: attending state legislative committee meetings and voting sessions, assisting in the daily news monitoring service, conducting research projects, writing articles for the monthly newsletter, and becoming involved in various ongoing projects. Furthermore, as an intern, I exposed myself to opportunities that further developed my practical political and advocacy skills.
