Being given this opportunity has allowed me to apply and further progress my design skills in new areas of a logistical design process, but particularly strengthen my knowledge of building construction and layout AI drawings, giving a comprehensive motive to my work.As well, I take on responsibility to produce project layout plans for the ever growing client list.

I worked with the HS2 West Midlands Stations design team through an intern opportunity. My task was to design a future vision for what the interior of the automated people mover which connects Interchange Station with Birmingham Airport could look like. I worked with a senior engineer within the team to help balance the industrial design scope relevant for my degree and the HS2 design team needs. I produced a scaled interior model and presented his work to a group of senior personnel within HS2 including the lead architect for the Birmingham Interchange Station, following which Sam made some final adjustments to help reflect how to bring the design into use

Summer 2019 industrial placement at Optical 3D. A UK based 3D Animation and Technical Illustration Company. The establishment has a range of clients, including JCB, Bentley and Kawasaki. I helped to produce technical illustrations for Bentley Motors.I gained new industry CAD-drawing software skills, and discovered some of the best techniques to create consistent technical illustrations. To know my work will be included in Bentley manuals is personally satisfying. I had a valuable opportunity to work and share time with other team members; I received excellent feedback and help from the design lead. The small studio is forefront to new media and able to produce the best results for the clients.
