I have experience with multiple disciplines within the environmental consulting industry. However, I am primarily focused on ecosystem restoration and utilizing nature-based solutions to provide a more resilient coastline. This includes supporting design and permitting activities to implement such techniques as thin layer placement of sediment, marsh restoration, traditional living shorelines, and hybrid approaches using grey infrastructure such as rock sills with living shoreline components. Additionally, I work on the restoration of anadromous fish passage and habitat improvements through projects such as dam removals and river restoration. When supporting these activities, I typically lead specialized teams of engineers, scientists, and risk assessors in the development of habitat assessment reports, hydrodynamic evaluations including assessment of impacts due to sea level rise, design plans, and project implementation (construction) oversight. Project locations have included all regions of the U.S. including Great Lakes, Pacific Islands, and Alaska.I lead business development and technical delivery activities primarily in support of federal and non-profit partners.
