A lifelong naturalist with a passion for ecology and conservation, and early career ecologist with Temple after 15 years in retail. Currently gaining valuable skills and experience on both small- and large-scale projects including desk study, surveys and reports for PEAs (Phase 1 & UKHab) and protected species including bats, badgers, otters, water voles, birds and reptiles.A Qualifying Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), currently working towards gaining various protected species class licences.Recent graduate with Distinction of Certificate in Ecological Consultancy with Ecology Training UK. Experience gained throughout the course in Phase 1 habitat mapping and PEA report writing, hedgerow assessment, surveying for protected species (including bats, badgers, otters, beavers, birds, reptiles and GCN), and understanding UK and European wildlife legislation. Analytically minded with strong numeracy skills and a basic understanding of statistics for field biology and population ecology, and a love of learning languages, having studied to varying degrees of proficiency Spanish, French, German and Norwegian. A strong, independent worker with good communication skills derived from extensive experience in customer service and other roles outside of the sector.
