Member of lead committee in IChemE responsible for setting technical strategy for the organization, reporting into the Board of Trustees. The ambition is to work collaboratively with the IChemE membership (and externally) to develop knowledge, generate meaning and deliver a positive influence on some of society's major challenges. My role focused around working with individuals and groups in the areas of Education, Innovation and Research.

gPROMS Formulated Products development role – bringing reaction engineering domain knowledge into product for application in pharma and food industries. Grew adoption of the offer via consortia & boards (inc. Systems-based Pharmaceutics Alliance, Food Advisory Board, CC Flow) and strategic clients (inc. GSK, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, RFC, Danone)

R&D role focused on reducing time to market of industrial catalyst development through application of experimental and modelling techniques to identify best catalyst formulation and designs subject to business KPIs.• Led and delivered 20+ projects with interdisciplinary teams across multiple business units (chemicals, pharma, automotive, batteries)• Led projects with consortia (e.g. Eurokin) and with academics through PhD (UK iCASE), EngD and EU projects.• Championed and grew use of modelling software platform (Athena Visual Studio) from 3 to 20+ users across the company

I undertook a 4 month secondment in the JM Process Technologies Chemical Division where I worked on the development of in-house trickle bed modelling capability for commercial applications.

I undertook a 4 year doctorate funded by Johnson Matthey and the EPSRC on the subject of Reaction Kinetics in Formulated Industrial Catalysts. I was based at the Johnson Matthey Technology Centre throughout this time which provided me with valuable industrial experience on top of achieving the doctorate.I have published 5 journal papers and presented at 7 international conferences relating to this work.
